Regarding focusing on the eyes with the single point, how would you handle it when taking a portrait of a person with lets say a dog which is just a little closer to the lens than the person? Is there something that allows you to focus on two sets of eyes or are you just increasing the depth of field to make sure the dog and person are in focus? I am using a Nikon Z9

Why do I still get that black bar even in high speed sync? It's driving me nuts for like an hour I've been trying to figure out what the issue is. At 1/250 I get a black line even though I can see high speed sync is on my receiver and my ad200 has the high speed sync symbol activated but still I can't shoot above 1/200

In the intervening time since making this video, I sure hope you’ve discovered that you can import directly to Lightroom CC for iPad from your camera (plug in directly to iPad) or your card (via card reader like you showed) without all the gobbledegook of using Siri Automation. :)

I gave up watching this when one of the geniuses complained about the sensitivity of a shutter release he had activated while wearing woollen gloves...

I use the same 3 light setup for full body shoots for a client. My issue is that my key light is good and soft but the light falls off down by the subjects legs and shoes. I usually shoot around 1/125th and my lights are not near full power. If I shoot full power at 1/250th that might help? I’ll find out in 2 hours no matter what lol.

I'm going to do a long exposure tonight on the rocket launch. the aperture (F Stop), should it be say F4 the or F11 or higher? I've tried to find someone talking about it, but was not clear.. I am going to use the Canon R 5 - RF10-20mm F4 to capture the rocket in Bulb mode going across the sky.. thanks..

This is really great! I am glad I stumbled upon your channel. As I purchased one of these cameras last year, and coming from a Fuji to such a complex camera, it's taking me a while to gel with it. Although there is a plethora of info out there, a lot of it is too much. This is very concise yet clear and easy to understand and you also have the right Goldilocks amount of energy. Not too much that you're annoying, or not to little that you put people to sleep. It's just right and you get to the point. Your Autofocus guide was also excellent. If you are looking for ideas for future episodes, a guide to the various types of subject tracking this camera is capable of would also be very welcomed.

Hey, very informative video. I also have d3400 but I have a bit different options in settings.. Why is that??

But people aren't inches about. In a group photo with multiple rows they could be a foot apart.... How do you account for that when even at f64 you have like 6 inches.
